Renee is a licensed clinical social worker with a genuine, caring manner and an intelligent overview of the larger perspective of mental health issues.

Training, Social Work and Health Care Administration
She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in psychology at The University of Michigan. She also received a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from George Washington University. After making a career change, Renee received a second Master’s degree, Master of Social Work, from Norfolk State University in 1996.

Renee is a lifetime resident of the Tidewater area. She has had much experience throughout her life working in psychiatric hospitals providing individual, group, and family therapy. Additionally, she has experience working with children and adolescents with learning differences and ADHD. Renee spent two years as president of Jewish Family Service of Tidewater, where she oversaw many clinical programs and services.

Renee’s calm and compassionate nature enables her to work successfully with children, adolescents and adults. She uses a problem solving, solution focused approach to help clients deal with life’s challenges.
