Marie Donlan LMFT, CSAC
Bio:
Ms. Donlan received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 from Oakland University in Rochester, MI.
Ms Donlan joins our team with a varied experience in the mental health field, including working with the developmentally disabled population, and with runaway adolescents. She received a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ.
Ms Donlan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist [LMFT], and has training and certification as a substance abuse counselor as well. She has worked as both an outpatient and in-home therapist. Her areas of specialty are marriage counseling, trauma/PTSD, and substance abuse/addiction. To top it off she is very interested in Neurofeedback, EMDR, and more advanced brain process applications for office use. She has been practicing EMDR for more than 5 years now, and will become a provider with our busy Neurofeedback team at PSA in March 2011.
As a family therapist, she works with adolescents (over age 12) and has a great reputation for simply making things happen constructively.
Also she provides treatment to individuals from the gay and lesbian community, and advertises in the Lambda Directory. As a collaborative divorce coach, she works in coordination with financial specialists and attorneys to help clients work through the divorce process.
Marie has a great can-do attitude, a creative problem solving mind, and an effervescent intelligence that she applies to everything she does.
